Hoy mismo la banda alemana ha anunciado la salida de su nuevo álbum con el siguiente comunicado:
NEW ALBUM COMING!
We are proud to announce our upcoming 6th studio album, »Renegades«. The album will be released on August 16th, 2019 via Nuclear Blast.
»Renegades« was recorded and produced during September 2018 until March 2019 by the band itself and swedish producer Robin Leijon and it is the first EQUILIBRIUM album to feature Skar with his clean vocals and Skadi Rosehurst on synths.
Mastermind Berthammer states:
«We can’t wait to return with new music after 3 years. Musically as well as lyrically «Renegades»
has definitely become our most uncompromising and personal album to date. We are especially proud of the introduction of our new members: Skadi has been one of the driving forces behind Equilibrium for many years now. She has mainly been responsible for artwork, designs, creative input and will now support us live on the synths in a few months’ time.
Skar, on the other hand, has become a completely new part of the Equilibrium family. Some of you might already know him from his work on YouTube as Skar Productions. On the current album he gave us outstanding additional (clean) vocals as well as bass tracks and the logical consequence was that he joined us permanently. So there’s a lot going on with us right now.
At the same time we want to say a big thank you to Makki who smashed the bass live for us during the past 2,5 years. You rock!

Estamos orgullosos de anunciar nuestro próximo sexto álbum de estudio, «Renegades». El álbum será lanzado el 16 de agosto de 2019 a través de Nuclear Blast.
Renegades fue grabado y producido durante septiembre de 2018 hasta marzo de 2019 por la propia banda y el productor sueco Robin Leijon y es el primer álbum de EQUILIBRIUM que presenta a Skar con sus voces limpias y a Skadi Rosehurst en los sintetizadores.
La mente maestra Berthammer afirma:
«No podemos esperar a volver con la nueva música después de 3 años. Musical y líricamente» Renegades definitivamente se ha convertido en nuestro álbum más intransigente y personal hasta la fecha. Estamos especialmente orgullosos de la introducción de nuestros nuevos miembros: Skadi ha sido una de las fuerzas impulsoras detrás de Equilibrium desde hace muchos años. Ella ha sido principalmente responsable de obras de arte, diseños, aportaciones creativas y ahora nos respaldará en vivo con los sintetizadores dentro de unos meses.
